This event is being hosted by Professor Marcus Enoch, Dr Andrew Timmis, and Jacky Mann (student representative) of the Transport and Urban Planning Group (TUPG) at Loughborough University. TUPG has been involved in teaching and researching transport topics since 1972 and currently comprises ten academic staff as well as five researchers and 20 PhD students. Last year the Group began teaching a BSc in Urban Planning and is launching an MSc in Intelligent Transport Systems from October 2021. The core research themes of the Group relate to air transport, autonomous and intelligent transport, passenger transport, and smart and sustainable cities.

TUPG sits at the heart of the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering, which has the ambition to be the world’s leading integrated centre for built environment research and education, attending to the entire lifecycle of both buildings and infrastructure through our research and teaching.
